build, generate, and display anthropomorphic animal avatars designed by GROUP900.

These image resources originate from the game "摇摆积木超增量版" developed by GROUP900 in 2019. This game was a lightly networked game where players could publish custom levels with their characters, and their chosen names and appearances would be frequently referenced in the main story.

Following that, we continued developing games in this universe. We believe that the anthropomorphic animal design has become GROUP900's signature and most valuable design heritage.

We aim to bring these anthropomorphic characters beyond games, such as using them as an avatar solution in software. We've defined a string template that allows you to access specific anthropomorphic character images, and we provide complete tools to help you build UI systems around this avatar solution.

From an implementation perspective, all images are pre-rendered. Unlike avatar services such as Gravatar, while MMD-ID allows you to generate avatars based on user information, it emphasizes user editing to produce a resource ID. This resource ID is used to fetch the final resource from jsDelivr CDN.

When appropriate, we will implement this avatar solution in our developed software. Currently, releasing it as a JavaScript toolkit is primarily experimental, but it's already available for use in your projects.
